You have surprising freedom when you make these collages. I would be all ruler, and straight lines, and even margins. I am itching to cut the threads as I write this. Ha! But that doesn’t mean I don’t like your art. I do, especially because it shows something my mind doesn’t.
These make me think of Dada assemblage pieces, which I love – and yet, there is something so human and a certain sense of aesthetic here that is all your own. Just wonderful.

I itch to cut them too, and force myself away from leaning toward perfection. Like when I colored in my coloring books. Thank you!
